OUTDOOR

diabla

Greenery and nice weatheraren’t the only draws to the great outdoors.

AddGrill, a super-sleek collection by MUT Design founders Alberto

Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón. Topping a powder-coated aluminum-tube frame with comfy, chunky foam-rubber cushions, the pieces explore bursts of vivid color as well as the relationship between solids and voids.

Ergo, they read as sculptural objects as much as functional furnishings, according to the Valencia, Spain-based designers. (They also mark a fitting way for parent company Gandia Blasco to celebrate its 80th anniversary.)

Encompassing settee, lounge, and armchair plus dining, bar, and side tables, Grill is not limited to al fresco settings: Hip restaurants, hotels, and lobbies, contemporary or even a bit rustic, easily succumb to its charm. diablaoutdoor.com

Pieces are made of powder-coated galvanized steel, which the company boasts as recycled, recyclable, and environmentally friendly. isimar.es
