Past, present and perspective from a dynamic company Lattas furniture solutions has been active in furniture sector since 1983. The company has ultra modern private facilities that cover 6.000sm, high technology mechanical equipment and specialized - proficient staff while the years of experience – know-how as well as love – passion for furniture design and manufacture are the result of its family character. LATTAS sets high targets and aims at the formation of a totally qualitative and ecological product. Part of the products is constructed by solid wood which derives from certified and controlled logging. During the product dying, ecological varnishes without any solvents are used. Additionally, at the production process are followed the necessary specifications that are in accordance with the current European legislation (ISO 9001, ISO 14001). Through the methodology and strategy that the company follows, the quality and ecological product manufacture are proved. 4

• Wood, the most ecological material
• Formaldehyde
Wood constitutes the main source of raw materials for product manufacture in LATTAS. Many international organizations (e.g. WWF) consider wood as the totally ecological product not only because of its features but also its energy efficiency.
All LATTAS products have zero formaldehyde emissions. The company has specific certifications related to that matter.

The wooden products that are manufactured nowadays, are made of legally logged timber (sustainable forest management). This means that wood derives from forests where the trees are replanted more frequently than those that are cut. The wood usage contributes in a positive way in the environment protection because during production of this ecological material, the CO2 is being blocked. Wood also constitutes a natural and recycling source of energy that is to say when LATTAS furniture fulfills its circle of life, it can be naturally recycled without burdening the environment.
For the product dying, ecological varnishes of no solvents are used.

Yiannis was a member of the Athens Secretariat of Industrial Design and participated in many industrial design fairs. Moreover, he works as professor. Many of his design creations have received international recognition. He is red dot award winner twice (2008 and 2012)
