About the Project ... The Create Your Space Listening Project is a collaborative project hosted by Interlink. It is all about people and organisations working together to increase use of local outdoor spaces for wellbeing, education, leisure and business. We want to find out how local people use and feel about the outdoors, so we can learn from real people’s experiences, what works well and what could be better. From what you tell us, by recording and understanding these experiences, we hope to find out what we can do together to make a positive difference to the environment and wellbeing of local communities.
What will you need to do? You will be asked to share your thoughts on your local area, you can discuss whatever you feel is most important, it can be good or bad, as long as it is true and relatively recent (the last 2 years). ‘Triads’ Later in the survey you will come across some triangles known as ‘triads’. Triads works like a 3D sliding scale, by placing the plot in the corner it means you agree with the statement in that corner, if you agree with all three statements equally place your plot in the middle; the closer the plot is to a statement the more strongly you agree that statment. You can place the plot anywhere within the triangle, or tick the NA box if none of the statements relate to you.

About the Project (continued) We rely on volunteer collectors who will record experiences like yours. Taking part in the project is completely voluntary. If you don’t wish to take part, don’t feel like you are under any pressure to do so.
If you do want to share your experience, we won't keep any record of your name or address without your permission. One of our trained volunteers can complete the booklet with you or you can fill it out by yourself if you prefer. If you change your mind about your story being included in the project, just contact Beth at Interlink on 01443 846200 and we can delete your story from our records. Please note: If you disclose that you are at risk of harm, necessary safeguarding steps may need to be taken.
