The course is endorsed by RCT Local Safeguarding Children Board - ‘Raising Awareness to Referral’. November Level 2 Award in Food Saftety in Catering The aim of the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering qualification is to provide candidates with knowledge of the basic food safety practices that is essential in the catering industry. This includes the hazards and risks to food safety presented by food operations and personnel together with costeffective, practical control measures. The qualification is designed principally for those who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in catering. It is also appropriate for persons providing services to catering premises including pest control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners, laundry and delivery personnel.

Domestic Abuse, Risk Management and the Effects on Children This course is to ensure that all staff and volunteers are able to make sound decisions based on the use of the CAADA Risk Identification Checklist, information sharing and professional judgement. It is a pre-requisite that all participants (unless experienced in this area of work) attend the half day domestic abuse raising awareness course. The Triple Bottom Line, Measuring Outcomes Using Sustainable Investment Return (SRI) This seminar looks at the growing requirement for social enterprises and charities to demonstrate their impact. The concept of assessing your organisation in relation to the impact it has on sustainability, that is the economic, social and environmental impacts, or the ‘triple bottom line’. Learn how to use simple, common sense calculations to put an objective economic value on the impacts that you make, that will not only impress funders and commissioners, but anyone who comes into contact with your organisation.
