These services included basic oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and with the local Peace Corp developed a program to improve oral hygiene and dietary education. What started as an experiment lasted for 30 years. During this time he was able to get the government to introduce fluoridated salt to the island and over the years we saw the children’s dental health improve immensely, He is a former president of the M and M Area Community Foundation and a board member of the Twin County Free Clinic.
