ILE organizes 2 week courses Theatrical Costumes in Florence for designers who want to approach the old way to work in costum design for theater. The actor, scene director, and designer Massimo Poli will lead this workshop in an ancient “sartoria fioretina”. Programme: • History of the Commedia dell'Arte. • Theatrical and opera custom design. • Learning of capture of measures, court and confection. • Preparation of design for the preparation of the cut. • Study of small variants on designed mode. • Seams to hand. • Confection of elements of customs and accessories chose. • Exercises with the linear machines and of height. • Viewed of the Commedia dell'Arte characters. • Diverse studies of finished exercises. • Exercises with the linear machines and of height. Date: February, April and August (You can do it in one week). Time: 50 hours of instruction, extra cultural activities, costums renting and final performance. Price: 1100€.
