Manufacturers Kids Demo Specifications - SnowKidz
INTRODUCTION Coordinated by the European Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (FESI), Atomic, Blizzard, Elan, Fischer, Head, Nordica, Salomon, Tecnica, Tyrolia, Marker, Vรถlkl and FIS has developed a kids demo. The demos will currently focus on Alpine Skiing with a vision to add snowboarding and cross - country in the future. The kids demos are free of charge and participating brands will supply the material. The following document details the offer.
Contents of a Kids Demo
Kids Skis Specifications: Type: Alpine skis inc. binding Qty: 20 per manufacturer Sizes: 70cm - 140cm Boots and Poles: Boots and poles can be supplied by the brands. These must be specifically requested in the application form.
Demo Cabana Specifications: Height: 4m Width: 4m Length: 4m Quantity per brand: 1 Construction: Tents will either be foldable or inflatible Design: Design of the tent will be dependent on the manufactuer supplying the equipment. Mounting Bench: Brands will supply the mounting bench and tools to adjust skis.

Beach Flags Specifications: Height: 2-3m Quantity per brand: 2 Construction: Beach flags will be foldable Design: Design of the flags will be dependent on the manufactuer supplying the equipment.
Technician(s) Specifications: 1 - 2 qualified technicians will be provided by the manufacturer.
CRITERIA FOR RECEIVING A MANUFACTURERS KIDS DEMO All applicants for a Manufacturers Kids Demo will be subject to the following criteria: 1.
Recipients of the materials will need to be a registered SnowKidz Organiser. Registration may be completed by
clicking here
2.
Organisers must stage a SnowKidz event suitable for a Manufacturers Kids Demo. The event must be registered and
approved on Snowkidz.com
3.
Organisers must gaurentee a minimum of 200 participants at the event.
4.
Recipients must complete the official application form including the communication plan
5.
Recipients must submit a report at the end of their event on the SnowKidz website
CONDITIONS: Application Deadline: Recipients must submit their application by 30th September 2015 ! Power: Electricity must be supplied to the location of the tents. Transportation: Transportation of the skis, cabana and technicians will be arranged by the manufacturer. Ordering limit: May request as many brands at their event as they would like. Space: Recipients of the Manufacturers Kids Demo must provide enough space for at least two demonstration tents near the event site. For events with a large site, space should be provided at the main entrence e.g base or top of the ski lift or ticket counters. Availible Countries: The Manufacturers Kids Demo is availble world wide. Lift Passes: For demonstrations taking place up the mountain, lift passes must be provided free of charge.
