Dr. Sonya Swinton proudly presented Chancellor Hansell Gunn with the Distinguished National Excellence in Educational Leadership Award at the

Gunn Christian Academy’s Commencement Ceremony at the Bessemer Civic Center in AL.

Dr. Swinton is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC. She has a Doctor of Divinity in Biblical Studies from a National Christian Seminary with a Masters Degree in Education from Penn State University. She is also a distinguished alumni with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

On June 25 2017, Dr. Swinton celebrates over 20 years in Global Christian Missions Outreach by serving in the Mission America Coalition’s L.O.V.E
