As more countries look to space, humanity will need to work together to overcome the many technological challenges and ensure peace. There is a pressing need to understand the various actors and their priorities.
This chapter provides case studies of four emerging spacefaring countries: Brazil, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and South Africa. The case study profiles are standalone briefs of these four space sectors, with executive summaries to outline key features. This case study analysis presents the state of space industry, economy and scientific research, identifying key space strategies and priorities.
