In 10 years time our catalogue increased from a small 16 page flyer into a detailed booklet of 68 pages. Safe Sign Quality Safe Sign replaced PVC signs with a safer material: a modified recycable polymer. In general the complete range is also free of halogens, unless a client wants a different material. Signs containing halogens can cause a huge problem: there toxicity of smoke is of highest concern within enclosed spaces where means of escape by persons are limited. Examples include mass transit rail cars, ships, and Offshore Oil and Gas platforms. In several tragic catastrophes that have happend in last recent years people have been killed by toxic fumes. To Users througout the world we have Signage which is Halogen & PVC free and is even lasting longer than common signs up to 5 times. signs are produced within the EU and is printed on modified PET coated photoluminescent sheet with PE closedcell foamtape. All signs are printed from the backside on an PET transparent plate wich give the sign an excellent resistance towards UV and saltwater spray. Especially designed for though climate like Oil & Gas installations in the North Sea.

Safe Sign tried to implement almost all changes in this catalogue so that our clients once they purchase know the latest standards. The old design standards will still be available in limited quanties during coming 5 years. Therefore our old 2014/2015 catalogue will still be available as a download on the SafeSign website. The ISO 14726 standard defines the principle colours for identifying pipes. Each of the following colours indicates a certain group of substances. As this is an International Standard we mainly use english text. Other languages is available on request

Marking pipes on ships and offshore sites is of the utmost importance to insure safety at all times. Accidents, injuries and damage to machines and equipment can be caused by peop|eâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s ignorance of the substances that flow through pipes. The ISO 14726 standard (International Standard Organization), specifies the principle colours for the identification of substances in pipes. ISO (DlS)14726-2 specifies additional colour codes that allow a more detailed identi?cation of the substance.

Pipes must be marleed in the following manner: -At least one in every room. - At each point where the pipes pass through a wall, a ceiling or ?oor - In the proximity of each valve. - Within a distance of 3 to 5 meters. depending on the length of the pipe, where sometimes the local authorities will demand additional markers. Arrows to indicate the directional tlow are advisable. Additional identi?cation by usage of text will avoid any confusion regarding the cement of the pipes. For this,we can otter you a complete solution for marking pipes on ships and otishore sites. We offer you several solutions for marking each type of pipe on your ship, oilrig, etc.

Pipemarking Type 1 - Unicolour Type 1 is an unicolor system for marking pipes. The tape is delivered in different colours who will we mounted together on site. This is the easiest way of marking your pipes and does not demand a big stock of different colourcombinations. The tape is delivered in rolls off 50 mm x 10 mtr, and 150 mm x 10 mtr. The tape can be delivered in other sizes on request. We suggest you to use a neutral arrow marking tape for marking flowdirection. This to ease the understanding of the flowdirection for the crew and other personell.

Pipemarking Type 2 - Two-colour

T-ISS hull, pilot ladder magnet T-ISS Hull Magnet are designed to create a safer enviroment for staff & harbour pilots by providing removable anchor points for the ladder on the ship's side. The product is made to withstand a seawater enviroment.It has no internal moving parts or entry points for sea water. They are lightweight for easy handling, yet immensely strong, providing more than 300 kgs of lift & pull ratings, and a clamp rate of approximately 850 KG. T-ISS hull galley pneumatic locker The T-ISS pneumatic locker is a safety product that basically does the same as the hull magnets. The difference is that the pneumatic locker doesn't work with magnets, but with a vacuum pressure. The other difference is that the pneumatic locker anchors both ladders, and aluminium accomodation stairs. A compressor that has 1 HP, is enough to power this system.
