Interspace is a highly creative team of designers, artists, builders, and visionary people who create Interior Spaces for our valued clients. This brochure represents a snapshot of our diverse design experience. Our philosophy, however, is best described through the words of others: “Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design.” - Charles Eames
Understanding our clients’ needs is the basis for all our work. This is where we begin and end every project. Does our design address your needs? Your answer to this question must always be, “Yes!” “Design is how it works.” - Steve Jobs
Our designs prioritize functionality of a space and the components within it. Beauty of a space does not imply functionality, and utility does not imply aesthetics; Interspace exists to create designs that work for our clients. “Design must reflect the practical and aesthetic in business but above all… good design must primarily serve people.” - Thomas J. Watson
We strive to find a balance between budgets and beautiful design. Our designs are for spaces where people work and live, so they must be functional, practical, and inspirational. Above all else, we are here to serve you. 1

The reception area was designed to be practical and understated, while featuring modern elements such as a lightly glowing reception counter and an illuminated glass company logo feature on the wall. Client logos were integrated into the display area behind the reception counter, highlighting JAS’s dedication to customer service.
A practical meeting area framed by the building’s glass curtain wall provides a private environment for JAS to communicate with its important clientele. A lowered false ceiling provides lighting for the conference table and mirrors its form, focusing attention on the center of the room. 21

A large feature wall dominates the entrance area providing space for exhibiting seasonal/hot items. The key design element of this feature wall is a matrix of holes for inserting rolls of selected fabrics as a unique display solution.
This curved low cabinet serves a dual purpose as a storage area for fabric sample booklets (on the inner side) and a rack for hanging larger samples (on the outer side). A standing computer booth serves as a price check and information retrieval point for scanning product ID codes. 33

Copious sitting/discussion areas provide convenient space for casual conversations about product samples between customers and salespeople. When a more private discussion is needed, large, enclosed meeting rooms have been integrated into the center of the space for easy access and a quiet environment.
34
The design concept for this space is colorful (like Consinee’s many fabric colors), modern, relaxed, and flexible, taking advantage of natural light for comparing fabric colors. 35
