Sunshine, soft snow, lazy afternoons with a drink on the terrace – what’s not to love?

For many of us it’s our favourite time of the ski season. The days are getting longer, the afternoon sunshine warmer, but it’s still dropping well below freezing overnight, so the snow is still in great shape first thing. Spring skiing has a fun and relaxed atmosphere after the cold intensity of midwinter when we’ve tried to get every minute of daylight out on the snow.

Now is the time to kick back and relax, making the most of the best morning conditions but then enjoying the afternoons, either sat out on a sunny terrace with a cold beverage just enjoying being in the mountains in springtime, or perhaps switching to a more summertime activity like biking or hiking after lunch.
