Measurements

This activity will take place within the first two months of your placement in your setting. This task is not carried out in all settings but depends on the needs of the babies and the parent’s wishes. However you may need to know this when moving to a different setting. Your duties will include: • using the knowledge you have already gained about the policy/procedure for this activity • measuring out appropriate content • percentages Once you have completed the task discuss this with your workplace mentor.

Equipment It would be useful to have the following: • A baby feeding bottle • Formula milk • Sterilising tables/machine
