Guidelines Using In Touch Care Resources - TSSP The resources were originally created as iBook Author Files (these are all available on request via Dropbox). These resources have more interactivity than the Pdf and Word documents via in-built Widgets and via external Widget integration. These can include access via mobile devices with integrated multimedia, quizzes, presentations, interactive images, collaborative learning tools etc. In Touch Care aims to provide on-going training in these elements for its own staff and the wider community through webinars and face-to-face training sessions, as required. You require an Apple Mac to create and edit iBooks. iBooks Author is free to download https://www.apple.com/uk/ibooksauthor/ The iBook’s Author files were converted to Pdf Files and transferred into a Flipbook format using the Issuu.com site. These files are accessible via the link http://issuu.com/intouchcare1/stacks. To create an Issuu account, go to www.issuu.com and add your details. You can then upload any documents to your own issuu site. You can edit files within Issuu.com, e.g. adding links etc. You can also embed all the materials uploaded on our Issuu site by In Touch Care on your website or VLE. You just need to click the share option for the required publication, click embed, copy the code
and paste it into your website, blog, wiki or VLE. If you require any assistance with this, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will talk you through the process. Our aim is, that the iBook’s Author files, once completely quality assured and further developed in terms of interactivity, will be included on iTunes so that they are as widely available as possible. Images It is important to recognise where to access Royalty free images to include in your resources.
