PharmaMobility provides pharmacists with the opportunity to offer their customers a full range of mobility products and daily living aids to make their lives easier as they become less mobile. SOLD HERE How does it work? It’s as easy as ABC. A. Sign up to the scheme and display the catalogues prominently in your outlets B. Take your customers’ orders in-store by logging into the Pharma-Mobility wholesale website Customers can also choose to take the catalogues home and order from the consumer Pharma-Mobility website themselves. They will be prompted to select their supplying pharmacy to ensure you still receive your margin. Don’t worry, every order will require a pharmacy to be selected, there will be no direct sales channel and you will make a margin on every sale! C. Take delivery of orders to your pharmacy or, if your customer chooses, they can have them delivered direct to their home – you will still earn the full margin. Most deliveries will be fulfilled within 48 hours of orders being placed Every month you will receive a statement showing you what you have earned.

To take advantage of the catalogue it’s important to display it in your outlet in a prominent place where customers will see it. We will supply point of sale units for you to present the catalogue. Take a moment to explain to customers what the new Pharma-Mobility service offers them. You could offer customers a free catalogue when they come in to collect their prescriptions or make other purchases. This will help build awareness and understanding of the benefits of Pharma-Mobility and improve your sales.

How do customers order in-store? At the back of each Pharma-Mobility product catalogue is an order form. Customers can use this to purchase products in-store by paying you upfront and leaving their order with you to complete for them online at your convenience. In this case you will benefit from having the cash from the sale well in advance of buying the goods. Your customers have a choice on the order form to have the product delivered to your pharmacy for them to collect, or to have their order delivered direct to their home address. However they choose to have their order delivered, you make the same margin. Make sure you stamp your catalogues on the back page with your pharmacy’s details – this will help your customers select your pharmacy as their supplier. It is worth highlighting this when you talk to customers too.

How do I use the website? There are two views of the website: a pharmacist’s view and a customer’s view. Pharmacist’s view A special password protected area where you can see the wholesale price of products and where you can place your customers’ orders for them. Orders can take place in different ways: ➤ A customer orders in-store from the catalogue. In this case you take payment for the goods then log into the website and place their order for them. Don’t forget to ask whether they want delivery to their own home or to your pharmacy for collection. ➤ A customer takes a catalogue home with them and orders from the consumer website (see below). At checkout they will be required to name their supplying pharmacy and will pay through the website. You will still be credited with the sale. Customer’s view When a customer visits www.pharma-mobility.co.uk the home page will appear very much like a standard online retail site. They will see the same product categories as you and be able to browse the store seeing retail prices of products which are the same as the prices in the catalogue.

How do I keep track of my earnings? Within the pharmacist’s area of the site is a page where you can track your sales to date, both in-store sales and customers’ direct sales, and so the balance of your account.

How will VAT exemption work? Some of your customers will be able to claim exemption from VAT on certain mobility products. To qualify they need to be diagnosed as chronically sick or disabled and whose purchases are for personal or domestic use or be buying on behalf of someone who is chronically sick or disabled. If the customer orders in-store using the catalogue order form then make sure they tick the appropriate box. There will also be a checkbox online for customers who are VAT exempt. Your account will be settled on a monthly basis. The website is a full-function e-commerce website with all the features you would expect to find on a shopping site.
