NINETEEN Opens at The Vintage

NINETEEN is an exciting new bar and dining offering, now open in the Hunter Valley. Located within The Vintage Estate, this happening venue will provide relaxed breakfast, lunch and dinner options seven days a week, not to mention fabulous events and live entertainment for locals and visitors alike.

“NINETEEN caters to all aspects of the modern, casual dining experience and celebrates all the Hunter region has to offer,” said Executive Group Chef Murray Hickey.

“We are bringing this casual dining concept from our sister property, Headlands Hotel Austinmer Beach, which was a recipient of the coveted AHA award for best regional hotel, and giving it a Hunter influence and feel.”

Chef Murray will be working alongside the talented Hunter local - Head Chef Viktor Iui, whose creativity is focused on offering new and modern seasonal dining without the silver service approach, ensuring affordability for diners.

Keeping current trends, local requests and feedback in mind, the pair are excited to bring something new to the area, featuring local suppliers and produce where possible. The venue aims to bring new experiences to the Hunter, hosting numerous weekend events called “POP UP’s”, like their Summer Seafood bar and The Airstream Dumpling Food Truck. Plus, a gelato bar for the little kids and cocktail happy hours for the big ones. Midweek specials are already making the locals very happy, with a scotch fillet, green salad, herbed chips, plus house wine or beer costing only $21pp. That’s great value for a wine country establishment!

NINETEEN’s dining experience is split over two levels, with subtle differences in offerings to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Sports Bar + Beer Garden, located on the ground level, will feature a classic pub feel, with wood-fired pizza, bar snacks and family-friendly menu options. The Bistro + Upstairs Deck, located on the top level, will offer a slightly more intimate dining setting, an extensive Hunter Valley wine list and sensational cocktails.
