Louise is also a member of the CCL Garden Club and is a retired Harris County Master Gardener. The couple attends Good Shepherd UMC at Fairfield. The one thing that most people don’t know about Karl is that he earned Eagle rank in high school (as did both of their sons, and their daughter earned her Gold Award). Karl is a former Cubmaster, and later, Scoutmaster to Sam Houston Area Council BSA Troop 202. Louise earned what she calls “a double whammy,” a BS in Horticulture and MS in Crop Science. By Patricia Hudson Much to the delight of Cypress residents, Nothing Bundt Cakes Cypress held its Grand Opening on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Leslie Martone, President of the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce, welcomed guests that gathered to celebrate the day’s festivities with a Ribbon Cutting and free Confetti Bundtlets. “I’ve had my eye on Cypress for some time, and am so excited that we were able to open a new Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery in this community,” shares Bindya Patel, owner franchisee. The Grand Opening event featured a Cy-Fair Helping Hands Benefit Day, with 20% of the day’s proceeds donated to the non-profit organization. Nothing Bundt Cakes offers Bundt Cakes in ten delicious flavors, four different sizes and a selection of handmade decorations for any occasion.
