E T S A T E H T L I S A R B F O Double-distilled in copper pots, Fubá has a much rounder mouthfeel than its mass-produced counterparts and has no added sugar, resulting in a dry cachaça that makes it perfect as a cocktail ingredient. Fubá was created by brothers Rafael and Cassiano Agapito, who were determined to produce the most delicious cachaça using traditional recipes, coupled with modern, sustainable techniques. All of Fubá’s ingredients are sourced from protected farms and sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our farms operate a ‘no waste’ policy meaning leftover cane is burned to heat the still and other by-products are returned to the field to fertilise the soil. The combination of maize (known as fubá de milho) and citrus peel imparts a fragrant floral nose and a peppery finish. While the copper distillation gives Fubá its characteristic subtle mouthfeel with notes of liquorice, almond and green bananas.

Intrepid Spirits are excited to add Pusser’s Rum to the portfolio within the Irish market. The early blend of Navy Rum was more art than science. The raw rum derived from the contributing stills was stocked in barrels between 160 and 180 proof, too strong to be palatable so dilution after blending was required. The ship’s crew relied on its purser to blend, test, and issue the finished rum at proof. The purser, often referred to as “pusser”, would mix the raw rum with water and add a few black gunpowder grains. If the mixture failed to ignite in the sunlight, the purser would be mocked for watering the rum. The Painkiller®, a signature cocktail by Pusser’s Rum, is one of four cocktails in the world protected by trademark. Paired with pineapple juice, coconut cream and orange juice, Pusser’s Rum compliments the

La República Gin is the highest distilled spirit in the world, with production taking place 3,600 meters above sea level in La Paz, Bolivia. The extreme altitude allows for the alcohol and essential oils that are naturally present in the botanicals to distill at a much lower temperature by means of copper pot stills. This cooler temperature requires an 8 hour slow distillation process which results in a beautifully silky distillate. La República Andina is curated from a total of 16 botanicals. 8 of these are commonly found in gins around the world while the other 8 are said to be native to the high altitude of the Andes. Some of these native botanicals include Locoto Capsicum Pubescens, Quirquiña Prophyllum Ruderale & Tumbo. La República Amazonica is the first Amazonian gin ever made
