Which yogurt place is
BEST? Ghurties:
Have you ever been hungry in the summer but don’t know which yogurt place is best? That’s how I felt, so I visited Ghurties and Orange Leaf and compared the two.
BY RYLEE PETITGOUT r.petitgout@gmail.com
The first place I visited was Ghurties. When you first walk into Ghurties, you get a look at lots of bright and colorful colors. Ghurties overall is very bright and cheerful, just how a frozen yogurt place should be. When choosing the size they have two options, a smaller purple cup, and a larger green cup. They have many flavors of yogurt to choose from whether you’re feeling something simple like vanilla to something unique as caramel pretzel. There is also an option to have a twist of two flavors, which was something I liked. I decided on ordering the birthday cake yogurt from here. As I filled my cup with yogurt, I looked over at the toppings and my eyes grew big. There were so many toppings to choose from which was great because some people have different tastes. I decided on just plain sprinkles. Ghurties is unique and in order to decide how much to pay, you put it on a machine that measures how much it weighs and you pay that way. I really liked that because then you pay what you eat instead of paying for something more than you want. I also liked how you can ask for taste cups to try the flavor out before filling your bowl. Overall the workers at Ghurties are always friendly and helpful. There was not one thing that didn’t satisfy me at Ghurties. Rate: 5/5
Orange Leaf:
The second place I went to and tasted was Orange Leaf located in the mall. I thought this location is very convenient because when I am walking around the mall and I start to get hungry, but want something fast, Orange Leaf is perfect to eat. I decided to again order birthday cake and compare them. I thought they tasted the same! I couldn’t tell a huge difference between the two. I felt like there were not as many toppings at Orange Leaf, but that might of been because of the location in the mall and how much space they had. One thing I really liked was the spoons they had available. They were orange and were very unique in shape. I thought Orange Leaf was average, but nothing that really stood out to me. Rate: 4/5
