CATIE MILLERS PORTFOLIO


My cat is very playful so whenever I tried to take the picture he would always grab the cookie cutter that i used and start attacking it.

My cat attacking the cookie cutter I was trying to use to frame its face but got a camera full of paw.

FRAMING


LINES

These lines guide you right to the prickly succulent that is balanced on a staircase railing as the sunlight shines through the long glass windows of West High School

“Stand Still!” I tell Ella smith ‘20 as i take a picture of a graffiti painting saying “Science” down the science hall while classes are going on and walking through the halls of West High.

PERSPECTIVE


This took forever to get my cat to look up and sit there until I got a good picture.


“Smile!!” i say to Ella smith ‘20 while she looks towards the set shop with a big grin.

PORTRAITURE


In study hall before class starts Greata Vande Lune ‘20 smiles without teeth. Vande Lune’s blue eyes stare into you as she is trying not to laugh but burst out after taking the photo.


Standing in the bathroom, with all the lights turned off, its ith dark. Not knowing when someone will come in to use the bathroom Sophia Nims ‘21 and Amy Gao ‘21 spell out the word “LOVE” with a flashlight on their phone.

I thoguht the lines from the sun looked really cool.


COVER EVENT WEBER ELEMENTARY DANCE MARATHON


At the Weber Dance Marathon kids aredacning and smiling.



Top: Now watch me whip, Now watch me nae nae! At Webers dance marathon, everyone had fun kids running around, laughing, and eating pizza,and getting tattooed. Left: Guess who came!? HERKY! Herky taking a picture with a kid. Everyone loves herky and they all wanted to dance, give hive fives and hugs. With herky their it just made it even better.


Greta Vande Lune ‘20 at webers Dance marathon dances with a little girl, smiling and having fun.


Weber's Dance Marathon was so much fun, there were kids dancing, laughing, shoving pizza in their mouths. We waved to the University children's hospital and to dance crazy who though who can't.

Top: walk in and ask Greta Vande Lune’20 to take a picture of her eyes because I liked them a lot and how pure the blue in Vande Lunes eyes are. Rgiht: i walk out side in 30 degree freezing cold. tice for their next performance and they shoot for perfection.

The last half hour of dancing everyone is getting all their last minute energy out of their system, Greta Vande Lune ‘20 and Katherine Yacopucci ‘20 are dancing with two little kids.
