Framing To the left Rylee Villhauer ‘15 was being framed between the walls in the bathroom using the narrow hallway. From the top of the stairs you can peek to the door leaving the school, as Taylor Fridrich ‘18 was leaving a snapped a quick shot. Above, I took this shot in the window sill as the sky’s clouds were in the pattern of lines. FEBRUARY 2015 5
Above, Taylor Fridrich ‘18 was looking at books when we noticed the lines leading to her position by the shelf. Left, as I was walking around the school catching snapshots for this project the sun caught my eyes and I realized I should capture this for a photo seeing the lines on the staircase and the light would bring a subject to the photo.

Shutter Speed, ISO Top left Ali Ali ‘16 is always flipping and doing impressive tricks, shutter speed is capturing motion and so I asked him to flip to try and catch his daring moves in action. Top middle, Ellie Gretter ‘18 was spinning in the hallways as her cardigan and hair are flying through the air. Bottom Left Rylee Vilhauer ‘15 is sitting the window sill with her back to the light causing a sillhouette effect. Top right Hannah Krupp ‘17 the aperture was set high leading to the white out effect on her face. This blended her hair with her face. FEBRUARY 2015 9
Aperture Below, the fresh snow untouched was irrestable so I drew a heart with my finger. The snow brought a lot texture to the rim of the heart. The photo was all in focus. Right, the branch stuck out with lots of detail. Yet behind the beautiful detail it was blurred to show the detail in the branch.

As Rylee Vilhauer ‘15 and I were outside and the snow was melting we saw and a trail. I ran to the end and kneeled down at worms eye to give the effect that she left the trail. Right I used birds eye view to show Vilhauer below and the stairs giving different dimensions and layers to the photo.

Lighting Bottom left as Taylor Fridrich ‘18 and I were walking around and taking photos we caught a glimpse of shadows and posed. Top left, As I was outside I was looking for shadows on the ground not realizing the giants shadow cast across the school. Above, I was outside when I saw Taylor in the window and caught a picture. Free form Below, the fresh snow looked like powder in my backyard yet close up it gave a crystaled diamed look with lots of texture. Right, as I was walking home I had my camera face down and realized the crackling snow gave texture with the changed of scenery with the grass.

free form Below, the sun was peeking around the tree so I wanted to take a picture to capture but after I took the photo I noticed this large purple reflection adding color and dimension. Right, the trees are begginning to bloom and as I took the picture the sun in the backround made the outline of the buds glow.
