Framing Top: Molly Howes’17 taking a picture of me taking a picture of her. Throughout my portfolio, most of my pictures take place in the same stair well because of all of the different elements I could get. To the right you see the teachers lot through the view of someone looking out the hallway window.

Top: Jack Wilson ‘18, trying to do homework while I experiment with lighting an flash. I told him we had difficulties with the lighting, but in reality it was hard for me to take a picture that he looked good in. With this picture I was also trying different things with aperature. Left is an experimentaion with shutter speed from my cousin’s graduation party this past summer.

Left: Me, myself, and my shadow. In this picture, I was experimenting with ISO and lighting. To the right is Molly Howes’17 in the midst of a twirl. With this picture, I continuously took pictures and picked out the best one.

Far left: Molly Howes’17. With the center and top picture I was experimenting with shadows and making the lighting of the picture darker whereas in the picture in the far left, I was more focussed on the silhouette of my subject.

With the pictures on the left I was experimenting with the birds-eye-view perspective. In the picture on the right I was aiming for the perspective of someone standing behind Molly while she takes a picture.

Freeform Throughout these next few pages, you will see various portraitures of different animals. Below is my dog, Humboldt, and my boyfriend’s cat, Georgy. To the right you have my boyfriend’s dog Blue. Along with these portraitures. I also experimented with elements such as lighting, and aperture.
