framing The picture on the left was taken at a pumpkin patch in North Liberty of Emma Andrus 18’ and Izabel Houselog 18’. The framing in this picture is around both of there faces. The picture on the right was taken of Karli Maurer 18’ outside of the auditorium. We saw this metal thing sitting on the ground and thought that it would work great for a framing picture.

shutter speed Both of these pictures were taken of Rylee Petitgout ‘18 outside of West High School. The one on the left was taken in the front of the building by the spiral staircase. The one on the left was very interesting.. When we went outside we didnt realize there was no door handle to get back in so we were locked outside for about 15 minutes until a friend finally came and let us in.

Lines The picture on the left is of Rylee Petitgout 18’ and as she was jumping a teacher walked out so this picture took many takes to get. The teacher thought that we were ditching class but then we explained what we were doing. The photo on the left is of Meg Moreland 18’ we thought that the way the bench curved would make a picture look exciting.

light The photo on the top left was taken in the art hallway at West High School. The one below that was taken at someones house. We were experimenting with glow sticks and didn’t even realize it could turn out like this. We were all amazed. The picture on the right was taken in my brothers car window. The snow flakes were very large that day and I couldn’t resist.

Perspective Both pictures on the right were taken outside my house on the mailbox. The top one is a photo of Izabel Houselog 18’ bending on the ground. I wasn’t trying to take a picture for this project but then we realized that it was from birds eye view so it would be perfect. The photo on the right was taken at a Iowa womens basketball game. I was actually selling programs when I looked down and thought this would work great. People looked at me funny as I took this. FEBRUARY 2015 3
