FRAMING Left: On a cold morning, I decided to go outside and take some photos. I captured this photo of the early morning sun framed by trees in my yard.

Above: A photo of the moon framed by the trees in my yard early on a Saturday morning.

Aperture Left: A porcelain flower in selective focus by using a wide aperture. Upper left: My brother helped me take this photo of glowsticks in motion. Each shot was very tiring to take because the shutter speed was 30 seconds. I like this photo the best out of the ones I captured because of the hints pink and green that are mixed with the blue. 6 FEBRUARY 2014

Upper right: On a Saturday afternoon, I went to my dad’s friends condo downtown to take some pictures. There I saw a water droplet picture that inspired me to take this one. After hours of trying to get the perfect photo and attempting to take the photo from different angles and with different lighting, I finally took the shot I wanted, using high shutter speed, high ISO, and lots of lighting.

Shutter Below: On a very cold Friday night, my dad and I went and stood on Mormon Trek Blvd and I took slow shutter speed photos of the traffic with my tripod. Right: My mom spins glowsticks in circles as I take a slow shutter speed photo. Lower Right: A fast shutter speed photo with high ISO to capture the splash an almond made in a bowl of water.

Left: A photo of corriander plant. I like this photo because the plant slightly resembles a palm tree and looks very exotic. Below: A photo of the shadows created by plants in my family room at home.

Above: A slow shutter speed photo of LED lights on a lamp above my piano. I was inspired to take this photo when I got bored during my piano practice.

Upper Left: A photo of a plant in my family room from a worm’s eye view. Upper Right: On a Saturday morning my dad and I went to my dad’s friend’s condo to take photos. I took this photo from the balcony. This photo captures the art on a wall next to Bread Garden. Left: A photo from a window in my dad’s friend’s condo of the playground, library, and in the distance, the Old Capitol.
