5 ways to get ready for the winter adventures Winter is on its way. It is probably the best season for all the men around. As it is time for you to gear for the adventures of the season. The winter activities are one of the most dangerous adventures. Whether you go out for camping, ice-skating or snowboarding, you need to be perfectly ready for the challenges that come along with it.

So, before you set out to enjoy the weather, you need to take some precautionary measures to protect yourself from the injuries and the side-effect of the biting wind. Here is a checklist of the various precautions that you need to take while going for these winter activities. 1. Keep your feet warm This is not easily achievable, but vitally important during the cold weather. You need to keep your feet dry in the snow. Hence, use waterproof boots and moisture wicking socks. Don't use cotton socks and leather shoes. Socks made of fleece and other such material are ideal. Get a boot with the right amount of insulation can help you get rid of cold feet. 2. Layer your outfit


A single jacket, no matter it's thickness, is not enough to keep you warm. The different layers of outfit create an insulation that prevents the wind from entering your body. So, make sure that you layer up your clothes. Wear a warm base layer before donning your shirt or t-shirt. The innermost cloth should be made of thermal or materials of this sort. At least, three layers of clothing are important to keep you protected. Along with the outer garments, the men's underwear is equally important. Wear jockstraps or boxer briefs, in order to prevent your privates from injuries. Moreover, it increases the flexibility of the wearer. 3. Protect your hands and eyes Frozen hands create a lot of problem during this season. Just rubbing your hands together is enough, you need to put in some extra effort to keep them dry. Wear leather gloves during snowfall. Wool soaks the moisture, thus, adding to the wetness. Start moving your hands, as soon as it gets frosty. This will maintain the blood circulation. The icy winds lead to temporary blindness as well as pain in the painful eye. So, make sure that you wear an eyewear. Wear sunglasses, especially, if you are going for trekking and all. As you are in direct contact with the UV rays of the sun at higher altitude. 4. Keep yourself hydrated Drink plenty if warm fluid. You can even drink plain water if hot drinks are not available. It is natural to dehydrate during the cold. This dryness is particularly very harmful to the skin. Even though the skin of men is harder than that of women, it prone to cracking during this season. So, apply a thick layer of lotion and moisturizer before leaving the home. Avoid using drugs, they are harmful and have side-effects. However, alcohol can even help you, but make sure that you don't get drunk. 5. Eat well An empty stomach can create a lot of problems. So, eat some food that keeps you warm from within. Keep a big bottle of hot soup in your backpack. This is obvious that you only want to enjoy yourself, but take out some time and eat at regular intervals. Along with this make sure that your gears are fitting you properly. The
