Our 5 Mile Coffee Bar features a delicious range of artisan sandwiches, salads , fruit pots, cakes and delicacies, as well as a range of healthy options. All are available as a 'grab and go' or 'dine in' option.
Our SMile Coffee Bar is open 8AM to 2PM , Monday to Friday and 8AM to 4 :30PM on Saturday and Sunday.

BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served in The Brasserie from 7:00AM to 10:00AM Monday to Friday , and from 7 :00AM to 10:30AM Saturday and Sunday. For the early risers we have a special grab and go offer! Enjoy a delicious croissant paired with a cup of our 5Mile Coffee for just €6. This offer is available before 8am at the breakfast outlet and after 8am from the Coffee Bar.

FIRE SAFETY
Please familiarise yourself with the floor plan routes which are located at the back of the door of your room, which clearly outline all emergency escapes routes from your bedroom.
Should you discover a fire, please sound the alarms by using a break glass point in your corridor, or immediately dial 400 to raise the alarm.
A continuous sound alarm will indicate the necessity to evacuate the premises , please proceed to the fire Assembly Point through the nearest fire exit. In the event of this alarm sounding, do not use the lifts.

The award-winning Birr Castle Demense is both rich in amazing feats of science and engineering as well as rare trees and flowers, wonderful wildlife, and walks along peaceful rivers and the lake. It is also home to an engineering marvel , The Great Telescope, which was the largest telescope in the world for 70 years from when it was built in 1845 .

The Farmers Market, in Kilcruttin - just a short 5 minute walk from the hotel, is held weekly on a Saturday and provides a wide range of local , natural , organic produce.

Boora Bainne

SMOKING
Smoking is banned fully on the hotel's premises , including rooms, the restaurant, bar and fitness area . All rooms are strictly non-smoking. If smoking is detected in your room, the hotel will issue a levy, and retains the right to request that guests vacate their rooms for repeat offenses.
However, you are free to smoke outside the premises with designated smoking areas .

For your convenience, extra sockets are standard in all rooms and are located on the bottom shelf of the bedside locker and over the dressing table .
