The Pantheon design, adopts a felling of heroism. Directing energy and attention to the center, the vortex of the stadium. The exterior skin of the design represents falcon wings, imagining a bird in flight. Smaller sections connect to make up the movable roof, enabling a more nimble structure that is light weight. Designed for efficiency, the roof sections only travel a short distance to open and close. The roof is not an add on, but rather a structurally integrated part of the design developed for efficiency, cost savings, and memorable aesthetics.

The seating bowl options reflect tight, efficient geometries that provide clear sight lines from every angle, creating dynamic and energy filled environments. Envisioned as Atlanta’s front porch, this design represents a seamless transition from indorr to outdoor event space with maximum adaptability. The open facade design is a relection of a falcon’s wings spread in flight. The open air option offers views out to the Atlanta skyline and directs interest to the activity and energy within. This “extroverted” space blurs the barriers between inside and out, reminiscent of a solarium. The large roof divides into two sections that pull back, moving to the sideline postition over the upper deck creating a shade canopy over the seating. The roof retraction carries end zone glass facades to the perimeter allowing for the ends to completely open. The same roof movement also lifts the north and south facdes upward, opening up the concourses and creating an interactive bandshell effect over the “porch”. Worked in team setting, modeling and helping to produce graphic packages. Worked this project in tandum with scheme above (Pantheon).

OSU Wrestling Combining light and the outside with the notions of aesthetic that the University held was the challenge that was bought on by The Ohio State University wrestling team. The proposal at the time was what was shown on the previous page, a simple box where the history of both the University on the Team can be shown to oncomers. Solo setting under a lead, producing models and graphic packages for client meetings.

The United Center Building a space where both fans and management can come together and occupy a moment is where the notion of bridging the gap between, the previous off site or buried management team, and the team that they govern is the gesture that sparked the conversation of this new United Center office. Then the main driver behind the bridge point itself was that of congregating; more specifically meeting around the Michael Jordan statue. To enhance the space graceful curves of metal sweep through the space, perforated with the imagery of the building past. Large opening then create dramatic lighting to give something else to what is would be a short stop.

The Ouroboros grasped in its totality is both the result and the project of the existing mode of production. It is not a supplement to the real world, but rather an additional decoration. It is the heart of the unrealism of the real society. Bridging the gap of community and the Zoo. In all its specific forms the Ouroboros is the present model of socially dominant life. It is the omnipresent affirmation of the choice already made in production and its corollary consumption. The Ouroboros form and content are identically the total justification of the existing system’s conditions and goals.

Ouroboros is founded on sustainable principles is a circular production of sustainability. The technology is based on sustainable principles, and the technical process sustains in turn. From energy to comfort, all the goods selected by the spectacular system are also its weapons for a constant reinforcement of the conditions of sustainability. Where as the production of flora leads into the production of the community, perpetuating the circular production of economic and social independence.

Protected from the outside world the Chrysalis Spa is intended to be of a place where one can find themselves fully immersed in nature and where they can escape from the world if even for a brief period. The rigid structure of the building and program force the users through a cycle, where they will emerge from the cocoon, refreshed. The form is generated by the notion of isolation; we build walls to keep ourselves safe from prying eyes. Large bands anchor the coverings to the ground, as the cocoon attaches to a surface. Tessellation is designed as to capture the optimal amount of sunlight; for both heat and lighting, as the sun travels during the course of the day, as well as to provide shade during the peak hours of sunlight.

Fairy tales are the most accessible stories humans are able to tell. It’s not at all a matter of them being simple -- they present structural rules, precise patterns and feature distinct element, some of which we covered, many more of which are the subject of in-depth studies by anthropologists, semioticians and literature academics alike. They are as sophisticated as a specimen of great architecture, and like great architecture they are relatable, fascinating and understandable
to all, even to those who have no expertise -whether that is the life-expertise that children are too young to have, or the architectural eye that the general public is not called to develop, but that architects intend to catch. Thinking in terms of stories, they excite your imagination and to invite you to go beyond the classic topics and typologies that architecture competitions often focus on.
