LEADING THE CROSS-BORDER REVOLUTION China’s cross-border import retail e-commerce market reached €1500 billion in Q4 2018. China’s cross-border export retail e-commerce reached €726 billion in Q4 2018.

Alibaba Cainiao Smart Logistics Network chose Belgium for its logistics hub in Europe. The Liege Airport, that in 2018 transported 870.000 tons of cargo, will host the new world-class smart logistics hub and it will serve as the “Gateway to China”.

Electronic World Trade Platform (eWTP) Initiative: an agreement between the Federal Government of Belgium and the Alibaba Group to help SMEs better manage their exports.

The recent cargo train connection between the central Chinese hub city of Zhengzhou and Liege guarantees great logistic access.

MEET THE ORGANIZERS The EU CBEC Forum originated from the cooperation between AWEX, the Wallonia Export-Investment Agency and Cifnews, the first cross-border e-commerce media platform in China. This partnership was born from the shared objective to connect European companies and consumers to the best pool of opportunities currently offered by the Chinese market.

The Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX), is a Public Interest Organization in the Wallonia Government created in 1998. It constitutes a one-stop shop for all foreign companies interested in locating to Wallonia or expanding their existing activities.

Cifnews 雨果网 is the first media platform focusing on cross-border e-commerce. Its mission is to connect brands & manfacturers with vendors & channels in the interconnected global market.
