The Foundation, created by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, has been active since 2006 in the following domains - climate change and renewable energies, biodiversity, water and the fight against desertification, and has been supporting projects in specific geographical regions such as the Mediterranean Basin, the Polar Regions and the Least Developed Countries, in order to promote environmental protection and sustainable development.
