Mark has held his current position since 2011. He provides management consultancy related to health services in the UK and overseas, and his clients have included the World Bank Group, the World Health Organization, HCA Healthcare UK and Optimity Advisors. His particular areas of experience include public hospital corporatisation, health financing reforms, and evaluation and policy-making regarding the role of the private healthcare sector.

Stephen Collier Chair and non-executive chair
Stephen is chair of Eden Futures, the supported living provider; chair of NHS Professionals, the flexible workforce provider owned by the Department of Health and Social Care; chair of Cornerstone Healthcare, which works with dementia patients; and a non-executive director and chair of Workforce at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is also a sector advisor to investors and operators, and was recently an independent advisor to the Paterson Inquiry. Stephen practised as a barrister before choosing a career in healthcare, ultimately becoming group chief executive of BMI Healthcare until the end of 2014.

Jan Flawn Founder, PJ Care
In 2000 Jan founded PJ Care to provide specialist care for young people with various neurological conditions after seeing them living inappropriately in care homes for the elderly. Jan has now retired and has handed the company over to her son Neil Russell. Since 2001 Jan has received many awards from within the health industry, as well as an honorary degree from the Open University and the CBI First Woman of Business Services Award. She was appointed CBE in 2014 for services to the care home business and charitable fundraising.
