CPD 2023
Continuing Professional Development – CPD, is vital in supporting and developing your career, ensuring your skills and knowledge are up to date and ensuring you continue to practise safely and effectively. CPD is a requirement of HCPC registration. The HCPC have 5 standards you must meet:
Maintain an accurate and an up to date record of CPD activities - There is no set format for recording your CPD, it can be as hard copies in a folder or electronically.
Advertisement
Demonstrate that CPD activities are a mixture of learning activities relevant to current or future practice
Seek to ensure that CPD has contributed to the quality of practice and service delivery Seek to ensure that CPD benefits the service user
Upon request, present a written profile explaining how they have met the standards for CPD.
