Let's toast the season

This season is our favorite time of year. For us, it’s a time to take stock of all the blessings in our lives and celebrate with friends and family.

Here at O’Shaughnessy Liquor, we have something for everyone. We offer a large variety of seasonal beverages, no matter the taste or the occasion.

This year, we thought we’d share some of our favorite drink recipes. They’re easy to make, delicious and offer the classic flavors of the season.

Recipe:

Cranberry Mimosa Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces of pomegranate liqueur • 1 ounce of cranberry juice • 3 ounces of champagne, chilled • Fresh cranberries, for garnish

Steps:

Gather the ingredients. In a champagne flute, pour the pomegranate liqueur and cranberry juice. Top with champagne. Garnish with a few fresh cranberries. Serve and enjoy!

Recipe:

Holly Jolly Fireball Shots Ingredients:

• 1 cup water

• 1 3-ounce packet cherry Jell-O • 8 ounces of Fireball, chilled • Cool Whip, for garnish • Red Hots, for garnish

Steps:

Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Once bubbling, stir in packet of Jell-O mix, stirring until completely dissolved. Turn off heat. Pour in Fireball, mixing until thoroughly combined. Pour the Jell-O mixture into each of the shot glasses. Place the shot glasses in the refrigerator until the Jell-O sets. Dollop with Cool Whip then Red Hots and sprinkles on top.

Recipe:

Cinnamon Smashed Apple Ingredients:

• 30 ml Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire • 30 ml Sour Mix • Apple cider

Steps:

Fill tumbler with ice and build cocktail in order of ingredients. Finish with a brief and gentle swirl of the tumbler. Garnish with fresh apple slices dusted with cinnamon spice and enjoy!
