Dear Dr. Phinney, Thank you IOM AMERICA for the service you are providing our outreach and ministry here in Uganda. Uganda is doing well and the situation is not bad. People love the word of God especially when you love to do something which develops the communities and walking in the light of God faithfully. The conditions are not bad, people are not hostile to whites but they are loving. Especially me, I love American people so much with the Christians in my church I started with a school of about 300 children. That is how our country is like in its updates. The government is not hostile to Christianity of saved people. In fact the president loves saved people very much and he encourages them to work hard to bring in missionaries who love to develop our country communities and churches. The first lady is also the same, very positive to support churches. So there is not problem at all. You are very much welcome to our country Uganda and we shall stand with you in serving God. My church is CHRIST FULL GOSPEL MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL, we are located in the eastern part of the country Uganda in Bugiri and Busia, which I believe you have visited several years ago. Our districts having 5 branches of fellowship churches as we are praying for God's will to be done. I will continue to share your podcasts and articles here with my fellow servants.

Your news letters are very good for me and the church please. We shall continue reading them please as we continue communicating to each other in Christ. May God bless you and we pray for your preparation to come to visit us in Uganda. Yours in Christ, Pastor Oundo Bwire Sylvester Kampala, Uganda, East Africa

Dear IOM & IFEL, I hope all is well with you, I need your prayer agreement and partnership, It is now seven years since God guided me to plant Disciples Christian Fellowship and five years since we registered Open Heart Orphanage Ministry our mission arm to respond to the growing number of needy/orphaned kids made by war, hunger and HIV/AIDS. We support 1000 needy/orphaned kids in three schools with 16 who have nowhere to go accommodated. This church and ministry is independent where by all of our activities have been running on faithful giving of God’s people where we have to keep on asking for money continually to feed the kids, educating them while renting school premises and the church premises. Six months back we identified 38 acres of land, this land is suitable for all our projects we can build one big school able to educate 1000 kids while accommodating them, planting enough food for them all with modern agricultural technology . There’s enough space for a church building and other farming projects like Poultry, Piggery, Raising goats and rabbits. I have been thinking while praying for this land for the last six months. Disciples Christian fellowship is an independent ministry working with churches in communities (C.I.C.) fellowship and permitted to work as a church. Located in Uganda Buganda the Central Region 66 Kilometers from the Capital city Kampala. In 2001 God spoke to Pr. Hassan Mubiru to invest his life in discipling people individually he started with a small house group he opened many home sells like this many ministers and church leaders has benefited through his teaching. In 2006 God spoke clearly to his heart to plant a church in Mityana town Council and DISCIPLES CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH was planted in 2007. Today Disciples Christian fellowship works with 1000 churches around Uganda. And after two years of operation in 2009 OPEN HEART ORPHANAGE MINISTRY was registered as a Christian based nonprofit organization as a response for meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the growing number of children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic and needy. Who never had any opportunity for education and the school drop outs in our society who would go nowhere. Today Open Heart Orphanage Ministry care for at least 200 (two hundred orphaned/needy kids in Uganda with education and feeding, touching all ends of living conditions of Ugandans Below are the objectives of Open Heart Orphanage Ministry: 1. To provide housing, food, clothing, give basic education and medical assistance to orphans and street children whose parents are widows, either poor or abandoned. 2. To see the less privileged (orphans, AIDS orphans, etc.) going back to school, getting food and shelter and knowing God. Sports development- raise awareness of sporting disciplines and impart skills to individuals and communities. 3. To promote Destitute Children for self –employment among youth through training, tailoring, Hair dressing. 2

4. To start a vocational school for woodwork and computer training that will enable the centre first to train the needy/orphaned and to generate income to meet some of its expenditure and sustain itself. 5. To build a school that will serve the orphaned/needy children in the community. 6. To establish medical facilities and provide treatment to the needy. 7. To Mobilize, Develop and Apply available resources to promote the objectives of the Organization. 8. To promote HIV/AIDS awareness among all members of our community. OUR VISION We at Open Heart Orphanage Ministry we want to realize the full potential of our children. We want to ensure that they will be able to reintegrate their community as healthy, happy, responsible and independent adults. We thank you for taking the time to share our story with your readers. May Jesus bless your work with your worldwide partners. God bless you In Christ, Pastor Hassan Mubiru

Dear Stephen, Greetings in Jesus Holy name, hope you are doing good servant of God. What a pleasant thing to stay in fellowship with brethren for it draws the blessings of God –Psalm 133:1-. We in ministry are doing extremely well as the Lord daily supplies the grace to serve Him, this does not mean that we do not undergo challenges but challenges have provided a platform for our growth and strength each day. We are forecast and like Brother Paul we are determined that through all tribulations we reach heaven. We will be having a big crusade and conference meetings this month, thus we really require your prayers and all your support and presence that the work of God may be fulfilled. God bless you, your family and ministry and all you are doing for the kingdom- shalom. Bishop David Wanjala Kenya Crown Gospel Ministry Webuye Kenya Dear servant of God, Its indeed an honor, but also painful to pray for the needs of IOM. But we thank God that He knows our pain and suffering . The whole of yesterday until the Lord spoke to you, we too had gone from pain to more pain . May the Lord who is worthy be the revealer of our mystery. Just know we are fellowshipping in your sufferings. Because of the coming election in Kenya, dear friends we would love to urge you to earnestly and faithfully stand with this country, because we hear the sound of blood and death. I also ask you to obediently help us support the cause in our calling of bringing hope and victory to less fortunate. The support of your ministry is of great encouragement to our ministry outreach. May the lord watch over you and bless you, Rev Charles Otieno Oyange Kenya
