This season is filled with fun as we dive into summer sports outings, camping adventures, road trips, county and state fairs and family time During summer at Iowa Corn, we are continuing to engage with farmers and consumers at numerous events across the state. In June, we hosted the Inaugural Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol at the Iowa Speedway! While at the event, we promoted Unleaded 88 and connected with farmer members through the Iowa Corn VIP tent!
You can find us at more events this summer including the Iowa Corn Day at the State Fair on Friday, August 16 from 9 a m to 8 p m ! Join in on the fun by participating in our scavenger hunt throughout the fairgrounds. Return to the Iowa Corn booth on the grand concourse to receive a $5 coupon to enjoy a corn-fed treat at the Iowa Pork Tent, Turkey Grill, Cattleman's Beef Quarters, Pork Chop-on-a-Stick, Dairy Goodness Barn or Cluck-’n-Coop stand.

School is out, the sun is shining, and the heat is rising! It’s time to get PUMPED UP for summer. Growing up, summer was all about road trips to camp or vacation, heading to county and state fairs or just simply taking a drive to see family. Summer adventures became a large part of our lives in the Botterman household. I have countless cherished memories of road tripping to places like the children's museum in Saint Louis, Beale Street in Tennessee and the Mall of America in Minnesota.
Now that both my sister and I are in college, our summer road trips look a bit different—we often head home for short weekend trips to spend time with family. With the miles we put on our cars to visit loved ones, frequent refueling is a necessity. Thanks to the hard work of Iowa's corn farmers and their dedication to producing a cleaner burning ethanol, I've found that filling up with Unleaded 88 not only saves me money but also supports Iowa's farmers, economy and environment! I always keep an eye out for gas stations that offer Unleaded 88 (sometimes labeled E15), and with the Fuel Finder, finding them is quick and easy!
