Companies from the parts and surface cleaning sector are looking forward to the first physical highlight of the year: from 5 to 7 October, Deutsche Messe stages parts2clean in Stuttgart (Germany). With their wide range of products, solutions and services, numerous market leaders from Germany and abroad present their range of application-oriented and cost-efficient cleanliness.
After a Corona-forced pause last year, parts2clean – the leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning – returns this year to the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre. “Together with our exhibitors, we have decided to stage parts2clean as a physical event again. Supporting program
Each day of parts2clean, Deutsche Messe and the Business Area Cleaning by Fraunhofer organize a forum where experts discuss all topics related to industrial parts and surface cleaning, including the basics and innovations of industrial cleaning processes, challenges from filmic contamination, cleaning for medical and pharmaceutical technology, analytic and technical cleanliness, and automation and digitalization. Electromobility is a new theme in 2021. Admission to the forum is free for parts2clean visitors.

La fiera parts2clean si svolge dal 5 al 7 ottobre a Stoccarda
Le aziende operanti nel settore del lavaggio dei componenti e delle superfici attendono con impazienza il primo incontro in presenza dell’anno: la fiera parts2clean organizzata dal 5 al 7 ottobre da Deutsche Messe a Stoccarda (Germania). Numerosi leader di mercato sia tedeschi sia internazionali presentano la loro vasta gamma di prodotti, soluzioni e servizi di lavaggio convenienti e improntati sulla facilità di applicazione.
Dopo la pausa forzata dello scorso anno dovuta alla pandemia, la principale fiera dedicata al lavaggio industriale dei pezzi e delle superfici parts2clean torna allo Stuttgart Exhibition Centre.

This year’s DeburringEXPO will be held from October 12 to 14 as an attendance event at the Trade Fair Center Karlsruhe in Germany. La fiera DeburringEXPO di quest’anno si terrà in presenza dal 12 al 14 ottobre presso il Trade Fair Center Karlsruhe in Germania. Finalmente gli utilizzatoridi diverse industrie impegnati nelle varie fasi dei processi di sbavatura e finitura superficiale potranno nuovamente condividere con i fornitori informazioni e notizie in colloqui faccia a faccia e scoprire di persona le loro soluzioni nuove e migliorate. Il forum di esperti con presentazioni tradotte simultaneamente (tedesco <> inglese) incluso nella fiera consente inoltre il trasferimento cruciale di conoscenze sugli sviluppi e le tendenze attuali in questi settori manifatturieri.
Whether it’s the automotive and supplier sector, machine and equipment industry, medical device and pharmaceutical industries, measurement, precision mechanics and sensor technology, tool and mould making or energy and environmental technology - demand is booming again in many branches of industry. The component manufacturing sector, however, is facing new and changed tasks. This is due to transformation processes, different production technologies such as additive manufacturing, new and optimized materials and the trend towards the automation and digitization of production processes, as well as new regulatory requirements. As different as these may be in the various industries, burr-free and optimally-finished surfaces tailored to product specifications are playing an increasingly important role. “On the one hand, the aim is to improve quality, precision and energy efficiency in deburring and surface finishing. On the other hand, it is about reducing costs,” explains Hartmut Herdin, CEO of fairXperts GmbH & Co. KG and organizer of DeburringEXPO, describing some of the key challenges facing companies. As an information and communication platform with a clear focus on deburring technologies and precision surfaces, the leading trade fair makes it possible to compare technologies and services in a targeted and efficient manner that no other trade fair can match. This is also reflected in the fact that nearly all market and technology leaders are represented at DeburringEXPO. Che si tratti del settore automobilistico e dei fornitori, dell’industria delle macchine e
delle apparecchiature, dei dispositivi medici e del settore farmaceutico, della misurazione, della meccanica di precisione e della tecnologia dei sensori, della produzione di utensili e stampi o della tecnologia energetica e ambientale, la domanda è di nuovo in forte espansione in molti settori dell’industria. Il settore della produzione di componenti, tuttavia, si trova ad affrontare molteplici nuove sfide. Solutions spanning a wide range of industries and technologies
The diverse solutions presented by the exhibitors are designed to effectively meet current and future requirements. For manufacturers of medical products, one of the key issues is to meet the requirements of the new Medical Device Regulation (MDR), which came into force on 26 May 2021. For the first time, the MDR also focuses on particles for sterile products. These can arise from burrs, for example, which must therefore be reliably removed in a traceable process. In the automotive and supplier industry, the significant growth in demand for electric and hybrid vehicles is leading to an expansion of capacities for component manufacturing. Burr-free and high-precision surfaces are essential for numerous parts, including housings and rotor shafts. As far as internal combustion engines are concerned, the focus is on further developments and improvements aimed at lowering fuel consumption and emissions even more. The quality of the relevant surfaces plays just as important a role as burr-free precision machining, for example with ECM processes or laser technologies. For achieving the increasingly strict cleanliness specifications, precision parts used, for example for metrology, optical and sensor industries as well as production equipment for printed circuit board manufacturing, also require reliable deburring. Likewise, the quality of subsequent processes such as joining, sealing, coating or assembly can only be ensured by burr-free and appropriately finished surfaces. This year’s leading trade fair will also address these tasks in a theme park titled “Cleaning after deburring”. The “AM Parts Finishing” theme park is dedicated to post-processing tasks for additively manufactured components. Solutions for removing support structures and powder residues, for smoothing and polishing surfaces and for preparing components for subsequent heat treatment or coating will be showcased. In order to produce parts faster, better and more cost-effectively, the automation and digitization of deburring and surface finishing operations is gaining in importance across all industries. Against this backdrop, DeburringEXPO will be presenting innovative and practical solutions in the “Automated Deburring with Industrial Robots”

Le diverse soluzioni presentate dagli espositori sono pensate per soddisfare efficacemente i requisiti presentie futuri. Per le aziende che realizzano prodotti medici, una delle questioni più urgenti è soddisfare i requisiti del nuovo regolamento sui dispositivi medici (MDR), entrato in vigore il 26 maggio 2021. Per la prima volta, l’MDR riguarda anche le particelle per prodotti sterili. Queste possono derivare, ad esempio, da bave, che devono quindi essere rimosse in modo affidabile con un processo tracciabile. Nell’industria automobilistica e nel suo indotto, la significativa crescita della domanda di veicoli elettrici e ibridi sta portando a un’espansione delle capacità di produzione dei componenti. Superfici prive di bave e ad elevata precisione sono essenziali per numerosi pezzi, inclusi alloggiamenti e alberi del rotore. Per quanto riguarda i motori a combustione interna, l’attenzione è rivolta a ulteriori sviluppi e miglioramenti volti a ridurre ancora di più i consumi e le emissioni. La qualità delle superfici interessate ricopre un ruolo altrettanto importante quanto la lavorazione di precisione priva di bave, ad esempio con processi ECM o tecnologia laser. Anche le specifiche di lavaggio sempre più rigorose per i pezzi di precisione utilizzati, ad esempio, nei dispositivi di misurazione, nell’industria ottica e dai sensori e dalle apparecchiature per la produzione di circuiti stampati, obbligano a sbavare in modo affidabile. Allo stesso modo, la qualità dei processi successivi come giunzione, sigillatura, verniciatura o assemblaggio può essere garantita solo da superfici prive di bave e adeguatamente rifinite. L’annuale edizione della fiera affronterà anche questi aspetti in un parco tematico intitolato “Lavaggio dopo la sbavatura”. Il parco tematico “AM Parts Finishing” sarà dedicato alle attività di post-lavorazione per componenti prodotti in modo additivo. Saranno presentate soluzioni per la rimozione di strutture di supporto e residui di polvere, per la levigatura e lucidatura delle superfici e per la preparazione dei componenti per il successivo trattamento termico o la verniciatura. Al fine di produrre pezzi in modo più rapido, migliore e più conveniente, l’automazione e la digitalizzazione delle operazioni di sbavatura e finitura superficiale stanno acquisendo importanza in tutti i settori. In questo contesto, DeburringEXPO presenterà soluzioni innovative e pratiche nel parco tematico “Sbavatura automatizzata con robot industriali”
theme park. Among other things, a compact robot cell will be used to demonstrate live all the steps from parts feeding, position detection, handling, burr detection by camera or sensor technology, and deburring with integrated tool change right through to quality control and the final placement of parts in goods carriers.
