The Catholic High School Leaders for Social Change is a student-led movement built on spirituality, collaboration, and a shared vision for a more equitable and just world. We gather Catholic high school students to identify and use their unique gifts for leadership to create lasting change through faith-based community organizing values and practices.
WHY JOIN THE COALITION?
• BUILD A JUST COMMUNITY:
Collaborate with other Catholic high school students to create a community where everyone is empowered, valued, and included.
• LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT:
Learn about your identity and leadership gifts, gain strategic listening and communication skills, and develop your unique story of self to mobilize communities for social action.
• CREATE SYSTEMIC CHANGE:
Use community organizing practices to challenge systems of inequality and work towards creating a more just world.
• SERVICE HOURS: Earn service hours while developing yourself as a leader and building a social movement.
READY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
This coalition is open to all Catholic high school students no matter the faith/spiritual background. The commitment involves a minimum of one monthly meeting. The schedule will be determined by the members of the coalition.
