Educational Symposium : The educational symposium focuses on how pharmacy education may be remodeled in order to meet the current trends and challenges in the field of pharmacy. It deals with ideas such as updating the syllabus with recent advancements in the branch of pharmacy. There is a special need to address the academia-employability convergence by bridging the skill gap. If all the gaps in education are bridged, then only can modern pharmacists be produced. So, the 61st IPSF World CongressEducational Symposium featuring 8 lecture sessions on different topics will focus on the theme 'Bridging gaps in current pharmacy education'. Scientific Symposium :
During the congress the scientific symposium with the theme “Catalyzing Innovation in Manufacturing and Delivery of Pharmaceutical Products’ is scheduled on Aug 2, 2015 from 9 am to 5 pm. Industrial Visit : As an integral part of the IPSF-WC, 2015, all the delegates will be taken on a tour of one out of the many reputed industrials in the city of Hyderabad. This industrial visit will provide an insight on how companies work and also useful information related to the pharmaceutical industry which sometimes cannot be visualized in lectures. The purpose behind this industrial visit is to give participants an opportunity to learn through observation needed for budding pharmacists. With the knowledge of new modern techniques employed in the industries gained from such visits innovative ideas are kindled among participants for further research. We would like this visit to be both educative and enjoyable for the participants. The tour is on Aug 5, 2015, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.

FAQs and Points to be remembered : 1. How will be the weather in August 2015 in Hyderabad, India? A. It will be monsoon season in Hyderabad during the congress. Rains along with cold temperatures can be expected in Hyderabad and also in most of the states of India with cool and lovely weather. 2. What vaccines are needed for travel to India? A. Before traveling to India, it is recommended to ask your doctor to review your immunization records to stay up to date on standard vaccines approved by WHO.
