Call for Article Contributions for IPSF NL 110 The Pharmacy Educational Newsletter (PEN) is the pharmacy education newsletter of the International

Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) and the aim of this publication is to aid pharmacy students in acquiring knowledge about pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences education and practices so they can pursue their career with more knowledge about their choices. It provides perspectives on relevant student issues and keeps students updated on the projects and initiatives of the Pharmacy Education Portfolio. We kindly invite students, recent graduates, academic staff members and professionals to contribute their articles to the next edition of PEN. Please consider contributing an article on one of the following topics: Internships:

Write about your experiences during an internship you’ve completed. Describe the internship and its effect on your personal and academic growth.

Educational Innovations: •

Provide an overview or commentary on innovative educational strategies, trends, or technology.

Academic Environment: • Professors can write about their careers and how they got to that career and any advice they have for pharmacy students. Advice from recent graduates:

IPSF Alumni are encouraged to write about their current role/job, how they got to that career, what role IPSF has played in their lives, the experiences that helped shaped them, and any advice they have for pharmacy students.

In The News - Student Reports:

Students are encouraged to write about their experience at an educational symposium/conference or provide a synopsis and commentary of the key points of presentations they have attended.

Student Perspectives:

Student are encouraged to write about their unique perspectives and experiences within education. Please describe your educational system, experiences, or challenges.

Education Challenge: •

Each edition, we ask a thought provoking question and choose the top answers for publication. This edition’s question is: How can emerging technologies enhance the learning experience and what kind of challenges do they pose?

Please keep your article fewer than 700 words. The deadline for article submission is April 1st 23:59 (GMT+0). Article submissions and questions can be sent to pen@ipsf.org. Once an article is submitted, it becomes the property of IPSF and we reserve the right to edit for grammar, spelling, and clarity. Viva la Pharmacie!
