CALL FOR POSTER COMPETITION WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY, 2022 The International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) African Regional Office (AfRO) are opening a Call for Poster Submissions to mark this year’s World Tobacco Day. This year's (2022) theme is "Tobacco: Threat to Our Environment''. The aim is to raise awareness on the detrimental effects of Tobacco on one’s health in the present day. This year, the call for poster competition is aimed at raising awareness among the public on the environmental impact of tobacco- from cultivation, production, distribution, distribution and waste, to give smokers more information on the dangers associated with tobacco use to put an immediate stop to this bad habit. Additionally, the campaign aims to expose tobacco industry's effort to "greenwash" its reputation and products by marketing themselves as environmentally friendly. tobacco products on the environment as well as to educate the youths on the dangers of the current tobacco products.
DEADLINE: The poster competition will start on the 26th of March, 2022, 00:00 GMT +1. Applicants can upload their work until May 2nd 23:59 GMT +1.

Additionally, the campaign aims to expose tobacco industry's effort to "greenwash" its reputation and products by marketing themselves as environmentally friendly.
CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS 1. Relevance to the World No Tobacco Day 2022 theme 2. Ease of understanding information. 3. Creativity. 4. Clarity of Content 5. Easily conveys the message being carried across.
SELECTION PROCESSS 1. The poster will be evaluated by Public Health Coordinators, Regional Media and Publications Subcommittee as well as the Regional Projects Officer. 2. You will be evaluated on your ability to easily communicate your ideas through the poster with a clear message set out to match up with the theme. 3. Posters will be scored by a selected panel of unbiased judges
