Regeneration of Urban Vitality

Landscape Design — Baqiao Thermal Power Plant Land

Contamination Treatment Urban Park Design

The Baqiao Thermal Power Plant was the first thermal power plant in Xi'an and was a memory of a bygone industrial era and a symbol of the old town. I hope this renovation project can serve as a symbol to guide the city towards a new sustainable future, regenerate the city's vitality, and revive the pride of the past.

Regeneration of the Mine Industry

Industrial Transformation and Site Design — Discarded Masks

Product Replaces Granite Export and is Used for Mines Re-Greening

The export of raw granite and marble materials from Fujian province has brought huge economic benefits, leading to rapid economic development, but this has also led to various parts of the region being covered by quarries and abandoned pits, causing ecological problems such as mountain exposure and landslides. The overuse of non-degradable masks has become an unavoidable environmental problem, especially when the pandemic has brought the city to a standstill crisis. I plan to use the masks to give a re-greening operation to mining areas, merging two solutions to the ecological problem to obtain a new eco-industrial model. Using new technology, the masks can be turned into various shapes of "stone" hard enough to replace granite mining. Using abandoned pits as a base, the quarrying industry in Fujian can have a sustainable industrial transformation, closing down industries that destroy nature and allowing new industries to regenerate here.

Regeneration of Flood-Stricken Island

Landscape Planning — Rainwater and Flood Symbiosis

Design Scheme for Xinsha Island

Xinsha Island is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Fuchun River, and its downstream is the Xinjin city center of Hangzhou. The area is seriously affected by floods, and the annual floods will bring great economic losses to the local residents. Moreover, Xinsha Island is the origin of the Chinese farmhouse economy. However, due to the change of the times, the farmhouse economy is no longer popular, resulting in a substantial decrease in the number of tourists and residents' income in Xinsha Island.

How to carry out industrial transformation is also a matter of Xinsha Island. a big problem in development. I hope to solve the flood problem and industrial upgrading in this area by means of landscape

Regeneration of the Whole Industry Chain

Urban Design —The Outskirts of Ulaanbaatar Use New Construction Groups to Cope with Sandstorms

I hope to connect ecology and community through design, repair the break between the past and the future, and regenerate the entire industrial chain on site. The suburbs of Ulaanbaatar pose a confluence of urban problems, with dust storms being the most serious ecological concern. I started with the design of the neighborhood, rationalizing its spaces, providing green transportation and looking at the mix of building units and flora to protect against wind and sand. It is hoped that the reconfiguration of grazing will allow pastoralists to regain access to the means of living, and to address the poverty of pastoralists through a rational upgrading of small-scale industries.
