IPWEA-QNT ELECT NEW PRESIDENT AND BOARD FOR 2024 – 2025 The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia, Queensland Northern Territory (IPWEA-QNT) is pleased to announce the results of the 2023 Board Election. The following members will be declared elected at the Annual General Meeting to be held at the IPWEA-QNT office on the 13th December 2023 at 11am.

We welcome Sean Rice, Managing Director of Proterra Group who has served as an At-large Director since 2021 as the incoming President, and Jo O’Brien of Tonkin Engineering, formerly SEQ Branch President also moving up to serve as Vice-President. Adam Doherty of Dileigh Consulting Engineers was also returned as Central Queensland Branch President. Mr Rice said, “I would like to thank our retiring directors who we recently acknowledged at the Annual Conference on the Gold Coast for their outstanding contribution to IPWEA-QNT - President Angela Fry, Vice- President Andrew Johnson, SWQ Branch President Dereck Sanderson, NQ Branch President Glenda Kirk and At-large Director Sarah Hausler. They did a great job and we are all in a better place because of their efforts. I welcome our new board members including our inaugural Director from the Northern Territory and look forward to working with them throughout 2024 and 2025, building a stronger IPWEA-QNT.” ENDS.
