Open Ateliers Szentendre’s tradition of arts goes back to the 1920s. Today, the town is home to several outstanding artists. On Fridays you can visit the ateliers of many renowned artists, meet them personally and purchase their works.
Duration: 1 to 3 hours Price of visits: HUF 2 500 per person (visits available to minimum 2 persons) Half of the price is redeemable for works purchased in the ateliers. Time: Friday 15.00 -18.00 Program starts from the Tourinform Office. (Dumtsa street 22.)

Hungary’s largest open-air museum of ethnography, also called Skanzen presents the traditional way of life of the Hungarian countryside 100-200 years ago. You can also go back in time and be part of this traditional world: visit any one of the 312 buildings, taste the fresh-baked sweet bread (kalåcs) and see the ways of traditional animal husbandry. The Secret of the Real Goulash Under the guidance of the chef of Jászárokszállás Tavern in the Open-air Museum, you can not only learn and try yourself the tricks of making a goulash soup, but also experience the genuine and unforgettable taste which made the name ’goulash’ world famous. Duration: 1 hour Price: HUF 3 500 per person (Full menu incuded) Gypsy trio: HUF 20 000 (optional) Registration: Tourinform Office (Dumtsa street 22.) The programme requires previous registration (3 days) and is organised with a minimum number of 10 participants.
