MOBİ-TON PUBLICITY IN THE CITY WHEN WE EXAMINED HISTORY, THE CITIES HAVE BEEN SHAPED BY THEIR CITIES IN EVERYREGION, THERE WAS SHAPED THE SOCIETY IN ITS REGION, AND AFFECTED BY THE SOCIETY.THERE IS A CONTINUOUS CHANGE WITH CITIES AND SOCIETY THANKS TO THIS MUTUAL INTERAC TION. THIS CONDITION CAUSED DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CITIES AND SOCIETIES. CITIES CAN BE DESCRIBED AS ‘LIVING’ ORGANISMS, BECAUSE OF CHANGE AND ITS INTERACTION WITH THE COMMUNITY. THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT WHY IS THIS SITUATION IS “PUBLIC AREAS”. ACCORDING TO SENNETT, THE CARRIER OF THE PUBLIC AREA DEMOCRACY IS THE HEART OF THE CITY, THE SPIRIT OF THE CITIZENSHIP, AND THE AMBIENCE OF THE CITY. ACCORDING TO İLHAN TEKELİ, PUBLIC AREA IS A VIEW AND MEETING OPEN TO EVERYONE. PUBLIC AREAS PUBLIC FOODS ARE CHANGED AND SHAPED BY THE CITY-FEED PUBLIC. FOR THIS REASON, PUBLIC AREAS ARE IMPORTANT FOR CITIES THAT MAKE SOCIALIZATION AND CONTRIBUTE TO QUALITY OF LIFE.

FLY ASH THE FLY ASH IS PROVIDED BY THE COMBUSTION OF THE COAL WHICH WAS DUST. WASTE PROVIDED DURING ENERGY PRODUCTION IN THERMAL POWER PLANT IS ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMICALLY IMPORTANT. USING FLY ASH WITH A WASTE VALUED AND PARTICIPATED IN THE ECONOMY HAS MANY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ENVIRONMENT. PRODUCING 1 TON CEMENT MAKES 1 TON CARBONDIOXIDE BUT IF 1 TON OF CEMENT IS PRODUCED, 1 TON CARBONDIOXIDE CAN BE PREVENTED FROM ATMOSPHERE. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN TO REDUCE THE NEED OF WATER IN CONCRETE AT SOME TIME. IF A FLY ASH IS USED IN THE READY-MIX CONCRETE: A. STRENGTH INCREASES B. PREVENTS EQUIPMENT CORROSION, FOR THE GAP IS FILLED. C. PREVENTS CONCRETE CRACKES FOR THAT IT HAS REDUCED THE HYDRATATION TEMPERATURE D. PROVIDES IMPOSSIBILITY THERE IS SERIOUSLY E. RECYCLING IN CONCRETE ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMICALLY GAINING OF CONSTRUCTION WASTES CONCLUDED IN ISTANBUL WITHIN THE URBAN TRANSFORMATION PROCESS. CONCRETE OBTAINED FROM DESTRUCTED BUILDINGS SHOULD NOT BE SEEN AS A GARBAGE. REQUIRED CONCRETE TO BE USED IN PAVILION IS RECYCLED CONCRETE. THE RECYCLING PROCESS OF THE CONCRETE IS SIMPLE AS FOLLOWS: 1) CONCRETE AND ASPHALT MATERIALS WHICH ARE DISCONTINED WASTE ARE COLLECTED BY WORK MACHINES ARE LIKE THE WEIGHT BALLS. THE RELATED RECYCLING PLANT IS BRINGED. 2) HERE WASTES ARE SUBMITTED TO THE CONCRETE BREAKING MACHINE AND SEPARED IN SMALL PARTS. THERE IS SOIL PREPARED FOR THEIR SMALL BUILDERS AND THEIR SECOND USES. 3) SPECIFICATION RAW MATERIALS ARE GRAVELED BY SEPARATE CONCRETE SHEETS.

URBAN TRANSFORMATION AND RESEARCH CENTER

PROJECT ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN / ARCH - 402 ( Tutor: Firuzan Melike SĂœMERTAĹž )

Limits; physical, cultural, social fiction are the elements that distinguish the people who live in the environment, or surround them to keep them in a place, and regulate their relationships. This starting point and my analysis process in my project is about addressing the alternatives created by going deep into this border and experiencing its binding attitude. As a result of the urban and historical research I did in my project process, I defined my center as an urban transformation and research center and I advanced my program in this direction. I handled the concept of border as a critique of the border, and then I aimed to provide this contradiction with the walls I created.

My design consists of four main blocks, and each mass has different functions. These functions integrate with the differences created by the walls and support the programs of the masses. While the walls are a real wall from time to time, at some points they serve semi-open spaces as top covers, sometimes turn into seating areas, sometimes form the viewing terraces. When we look at it from KasÄąmpaĹ&#x;a, it looks like a massive mass with many walls, and when we look at the Pera part, we see a structure with a lively life.

GALLERY OF BMW

PROJECT ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN / ARCH - 401 ( Tutor: Ahmet M. Ă–ZGĂœNER )

The fact that there is a large green area at the back of our land in Tarabya and a bidirectional slope caused significant effects on the design decisions I made. My basic idea is to create a large and remarkable facade on the front of the land and create a more social space that works with the green with different programs at the back. My design idea consists of three different masses. These were then disintegrated and transformed into different programs. First, I created a structure parallel to the main road and with a large facade. When we look from the front, the building on the right is the gallery and the left is the offices. Then I created a different structure plugin that divides it into two and takes in people coming in. The front part of this annexed structure forms a semi-open passageway. It offers people the opportunity to experience a variety of exhibitions on their way to the main sites. When we proceed from the same structure, there is a mixing and waiting area at the entrance level. This floor also has descent to the refectory and service area. The lower floor of the building consists of a refectory and staff rooms and the lower floor consists of a service area. In the other mass, there is a dormitory on the three sides facing the green and a training unit on the upper entrance level. In the middle of these three masses, it is aimed to create a social area with a large amphitheater and to integrate the green area at the back

LIBRARY-[X] / PLAYFUL

PROJECT ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN / ARCH - 302 ( Tutor: Ezgi TUNCER )

Library - [ x ]

LIBRARY- [X] / PLAYFUL The library is one of the important values of society. It is an important place to transfer and protect information from past to present. Today, new uses have been added to these purposes. Libraries have evolved into a more social area that stands out with different activities such as people working together or individually, and people spending time. My library is x playful. With this x, I aimed to create a space where the library is more active and human flow with a social and fun life. In my Eminönü analysis, this was a major trade center and a wide range of products. Then I crossed the traces of this historical, cultural texture along with my analysis in playful. For example, at certain times, I dreamed that there were some entertainments such as spice festivals, coffee festivals, local shows and games, exhibitions held, workshops organized, and shaped my design in this direction. I moved to the land between the front street and the back street, and I built an inner courtyard. When I examined the squares in Eminönü, it was far from green and cold. That's why I designed the courtyard, which I created, as a social and green space. The height of the structure is related to the surrounding structures and is formed from the front to back. As this rise occurred, I formed terraces that rose gradually with the structure. I moved these terraces to the historical building. On the floor, there are stains in the center which have a seating area and smaller around it.There are tears on the terraces for the trees in these spots.

Human beings have many emotions and these feelings are waiting to be revealed in a hidden place within us. When we meet someone in every moment of our lives, we are fi lled with a feeling that we cannot defi ne at the time of the fi rst encounter. When we want to describe it, we say that butterfl ies are fl ying inside us, and when we see the rainbow, there is a feeling of childish joy in us. We thought that if we concretized these feelings, how could we implement it? When we entered, we started to design a space in order to experience the feeling that we cannot defi ne again. We decided to use the best material that could be used to give the feeling of fl ight, the rope, the fluent and transparent material and the lights that would wash our lines to refl ect the rainbow feel. Because the material should be too thin to be visible, and the color should pass the color transition effect. Thus, we aimed to make the feeling change with different color transitions.
