is a block system for the area of Kusdili Deer. The settlement and functions of the blocks are determined according to the potentials and specialities of the area. In contrary to vast car parking lots, all pedestrian ways of Kadıköy are narrow and stucked among highways. Allthough the high population of young people, there is no ‘designed’ space available to public use. Based on the idea of creating a mixed-use settlement for young locals and outsiders, a convenient pedestrian way by the river designed firstly to make the area alive. #accomodate#meet#connect#make#shop#eat&drink

main structure is a continous line, which connects the deer & park district to the housing area. it is also a strict border between those two areas. it mainly functions as a pedestrian road and straight plugger to the COMP_ART’S.

main structure turns into a bridge, which connects phyhsically two sides of the deer. it also continues by the park side of the deer as a promenade.

have arrived, looked around, gathered, saved up, combined, dispensed, did / established, replicated, looked around, got off / came off/ wandered. - either close, and either away were founded / established / took shape / stopped lived / replicated. everything was leftover, too much, complicated, crowded. they wanted to be either close, and either away; either in, and either out; made new ‘things’ from leftover ‘things’; sheltered up hills, near by babels; got forms from the things that they have made, babels, city; proliferated with the city, became the city itself, but they didn’t showed up, always watched. either close, and either away.

KORUMA // ALAN Projenin genel kurgusunda öngörülen koruma yaklaşımı yalnızca fiziksel görecelik düzeyinde değil bunun yanı sıra maddeleşmiş durumun iç derinliğini kaybetmeden yeni fonksiyonlarla şekillendirilmesi üzerinedir. Bu safhada ele alınan koruma kararları üst örtü ile alanı birleştirirken modüler tasarım arasına sızmış olan bu örtü izlerinin fonksiyonel olarak iliski kurmasına yöneliktir. Bu durumda alanda korunan yapı duvarlarının iç ilişkilere dahil olması ve yeni ile birlikte ayırt edilen düzeyde içeriye sızmasıdır.

YAKLASIM Eskisehir çevreyolu üzerinde bulunan araç bakım atölyelerine tahsis edilmis olan yaklasık 42000 m2 alanın gözden geçirilerek genç kullanıcı odaklı yasam alanına dönüstürülmesi kapsamında genel yaklasım kullanım dagılımını düzenleyerek iliskileri kurgulamak üzerinedir. Bu iliskilerin iki ayagı olarak, düsünülen mekanların iç kurgusu ile total mekanın degerlendirilmesi ve birlikte mahalle dokusuyla beslenmesi öngörülen dikis fonksiyonlarıdır.

FITNESS

FONKSIYON Fonksiyon dagılımında büyük ölçekteki yaklasımlarda, alanın yapıya ayrılmamıs kısmına; rekreasyon düzenlemesi, yürüyüs parkuru, spor sahaları ve yesil alanla çevrelenmis konser alanı önerilmistir. 1 nolu yapının içerisinde mahalleye bakan kısımlara dikis fonksiyonları olarak düsünülen pazar alanı, dükkanlar, kütüphane ve gürültü kontrolü gereksinimi duyan apart ve yurt modülleri yerlestirilmistir. Kuzey yönünde ise dısa açılan alanlar içeren yeme-içme fonksiyonu, fitness, ofis-açık ofis, workshop ve sergi alanları yerlestirilmistir. Ortada sürekli bir aks bırakılmıs ve bu aks takip edilerek müze ve restaurant fonksiyonlarına geçis alanı olusturulmustur.

humanplotter: is a game played by six people and have 3 different levels of difficulty. its purpose is to draw the path on the playground by synchronized body movements. the path maps the spots in istanbul occupied by different clusters of Vernal Workshop Spots.
