My

artwork takes a critical view on the narration of time and its effects and it explores the human body as a manifestation of nature and universe .Studying the triptych Nature -Human-Genesis I want to state human has with its own nature . I implement time in my work as both a tool and an idea so it attains temporal qualities as it experiences change and fluctuation. Having engaged subjects as disintegration and existentialism my work reproduces familiar visual stimuli such as the temporar y nature and distortion of the human image transforming artwork to a memento mori. Landscapes seek resemblance with lying bodies reminding us that human and nature has the same design. While I use a variety of mediums in each project the methodology is the same

Design-Disintegrate-Narrate.

I

travel from one medium to another citating a continuity among the p rojects. The subject defines the medium and the “ Landsca pes ” as well a s the “Bonescapes” serve as stor yboards viewed under the micros c o p e. OSTEOTOPIA INSTALLATION Osteotopia sets human existence as a point in a infinite timeframe, there is underlined irony and

controversy. In one hand you have a Molded replica of spine bones, static in time and then you have the eternal form alteration. An infenently small time window which originates from a temporal eternity.

T

he Insttallation placed in the old infantry barracks in Florina city ,Greece. The place was chosen due to the events following the Albalian civil war. 6

7

BONESCAPES Molded replica of teeth, our post mortem identity become one with flesh landscapes ,static in

time. Its the observation of a natural process(disintegration and death) through my understanding as a transition of energy and not just the end of something.
