How It Works The Aire-O2 aspirator aerator is a propeller-type floating aerator. The aerator's propeller injects air in a high velocity stream of bubbles, defined by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as Atmospheric Air "fine bubble," below the surface of the water and provides high velocity horizontal mixing to disperse oxygen throughout a pond's volume.
