RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2023 Finalist

We are pleased to announce that CCCANZ has been shortlisted in the category “Environmental Collaboration of the Year” for their HVAC&R F-Gas Collaboration Project. This category recognizes the importance of partnerships and collaborations in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector to achieve environmental goals and drive innovation.

The HVAC&R industry faces a major environmental challenge in reducing the global warming impact of high Global Warming Potential (GWP) F-gases, particularly hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). CCCANZ, along with other HVAC&R industry organizations in New Zealand operating under the HVAC&R Centre umbrella, has partnered with the sofware industry to develop a holistic blockchain-centric solution. This solution has the potential to mitigate F-gas greenhouse gas emissions throughout the supply chain.

The RAC Cooling Industry Awards, taking place on 21 September 2023 at the Grosvenor Ballroom in London, is a prestigious event that celebrates the achievements of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. It recognizes innovation, environmental progress, best practices, and personal development. The awards highlight outstanding projects and collaborations that have made a real impact in the industry.
