Experience Intern - BoConcept Romania

(11.08.2014 - 10.10.2014) Two months of working in BoConcept showroom in Bucharest proved to be a real challenge for me. I have learned how important the customer behavior is and also the strategies that should be applied in order to increase the shop’s flow and profit.

Event organizer

(2009 - 2013) By organizing activities like Proms, trips, European projects or creating awareness to the environmental issues, brought to light competences such as persuasive, well-organized and self-starter.

English teacher - volunteer

(2010 - 2011) Being a teacher at the age of 15 requires courage and devotion. Dealing with children between 5 and 8 years old made me become more responsible and creative.

Waste Museum - volunteer

(March 2011) During this volunteer campaign at the “Waste Museum” I learned about recycling and eco-friendly products and how important they are for keeping the Earth clean.

Animator - volunteer

(2013) Working for two months surrounded by children with different ages, in a natural environment helped me to develop my enthusiasm.

TEKO is a creative and challenging environment to study in. This school has more to offer than you expect. When I made my choice I was mostly influenced by the older students reviews and also because of the study field. The danish experience changed my life in a good way. Now I see, do and think different. I feel that I improve myself, my social skills, my comunication ones and I became more conscious about my future and what I am expecting from myself.

Projects & Subjects

Two years of long lasting memories


Brand ID Learning how to relate a company with fashion proved to myself that I am able to brand and rebrand even a well-known company. This was one of my favourite projects because it requires more creativity.

Bizz Project

Working for this project in a group of five members improved my ability to listen, think and then bring an argument or idea. Bizz project was a good oportunity to have a close-up picture of a company. I think that with this project I learned on which details I should be more focused when I am analysing an already existing company.

TEKO Project This first university project helped me lose the fear of a strict deadline and to become more result focused. I consider that this project is the first step in the fashion industry and a good start for students that are attending TEKO.


History of style During this project one of my purposes was to create a walk-through a period of time using a connected way of presenting it. The 3D poster that we had was well appreciated and the connection between the style and the Queen of Denmark brought the atmosphere of the century.

Innovation project The recent project I worked hard on made me realize that being innovative, assuming, risking and taking big decisions brings to me a quality that stands out for my future: My choices show what I truly am, far more than the abilities I earned.

Sustainability Project Working for this project made me think more about our planet and the way we live in order to improve and make all the resources last for our children generation.


BoConcept Internship During my internship at BoConcept in Romania I discovered many small organisational problems that the franchisee has due to the knowledge gained during my first year I got a good view over them in order to solv them.

Study skills Learning how to learn was a good experience and a very interesting class. During these lectures I discovered that I can easily combine my strengths and my weaknesses. This subject was an unique experience in my educational background and I gained lots of benefits from it.

Concept Development As I like to call it: the visual diary of a brand. During this class I learned everything a brander must know before starting to work with a brand. My favourite assignment of this subject was the Brandbook. I think that developing a concept, its logo, typography and all the brand characteristics created a new way of distinguishing a good brand from the crowd.


Marketing Management This subject helped me to understand the insights of a business plan. I find very interesting and useful the Business Model Canvas with which I enjoy working. In the beginning I felt it like an unknown path but now it makes me understand how businesses are working.

Branding strategy & analysis Branding is the describing word for my future career. This subject learned me how to think outside the box and how to use creativity at its maximum. During this course I learned about advertising, promotions. Branding and Marketing students are dealing with very complex but on the other hand exciting tasks during this lectures.

Macroeconomics & Business Economics Learning about the demand and supply of a market, to consumtion, investment and other terms made me become aware regarding the economic part of a company. I discovered that the ideas I had before about economics had been improved during this extremly useful class.


Campaigns During this class I was able to figure out how to make a complete and well planned course of action in order to achieve defined objectives in marketing and advertising. I like this class due to the freedom of creativity and self-expression.

International Culture Learning about the social heritage of a group made me understand better the beliefs, knowledge, norms, values, attitudes, behaviour, dress and language that have to be considered in order to start a colaboration. Internatonal Culture determines what is acceptable or unacceptable, important or unimportant, right or wrong, workable or unworkable.

Global Marketing Branding Working with a lot of strategies that the teacher explained helped me understand the process of conceptualizing and then conveying a final product or service worldwide with the hopes of reaching the international marketing community. And also that a proper global marketing has the ability to catapult a company to the next level, if they do it correctly.


Management and Leadership I really am enjoying this class because of the teacher and her methods used in order for us to understand better how to lead a group of people or an organization. Learning how to establish a clear vision and sharing it with others so that they will follow willingly, coordinating and balancing the conflicting interests of all members and stakeholders showed me that unlike management, leadership cannot be taught.

E-strategy During this course I learned the fact that a good marketing stratey should be drawn from the market research and focus on the right product mix in order to achieve the maximum profit potential and sustain the business. This class was the essential guide to marketing in a digital world which learned me how to: think, create, engage and optimise structure.
