The Recrea on District The Irmo Chapin Recrea on District was formed in 1969 to serve community members living in the Lexington County por on of School District Five. ICRC has earned a reputa on for program and facility excellence and has a racted par cipants from surrounding coun es. Fees: Ac vity and event fees in this guide are subject to change without no ce. Register for Programs If you are an exis ng ICRC customer, you can register online at www.icrc.net for most programs and ac vi es. New customers should call the park during business hours to establish an account before registering online. Registra on is also accepted at each of the parks or by phone. Registra on is confirmed upon payment. Because many classes fill up quickly, register one week before the class date so we can make class enrollment decisions. We will accept registra on as long as there is space available. ICRC Key tag Policy: Visitors to Crooked Creek and Seven Oaks Parks are required to present an ICRC key tag with associated fees for admission to open gym, fitness and weight areas, racquetball courts, walking/running track and other unsupervised areas. Anyone age 11 and older must have a valid ICRC key tag for admission. Key tags are valid for one year. Cancella on/Refund Policy: Refund requests must be received in wri ng no later than three days prior to the start of the program. A $5 service fee is charged. No refunds or transfers will be made once the ac vity has begun and certain ac vi es, such as trips and special events, define a date a er which no refunds will be made. Please check individual program requirements for guidelines. Full refunds/credits will be given if the program is cancelled by ICRC. Physical Requirements: Unless otherwise stated, ac vi es are open to beginners and do not require previous experience. Average physical condi on is all that is needed for most programs. Please call for informa on about accessibility or concerns about physical ability required for par cipa on. Assump on of Risk: All ac vi es, including those offered by ICRC, have inherent risks which include personal injury or property loss. Prior to par cipa on, you will be required to sign a form which acknowledges your understanding and acceptance of these risks. Parents or guardians must sign for youth ages 17 and under. You are responsible for your own safety, and you may choose to withdraw from an ac vity at any me if you feel your safety is a concern.

The daily schedule includes an a ernoon snack, recess, homework me, and social recrea on. Students must be moderately independent in all ac vi es of daily living and fit within a 1:3 student/staff ra o. We are currently accep ng applica ons to our wai ng list at both a erschool sites. Fees: Weekly: $40/Child Daily: $15/Child (2 day weekly minimum) TR Spring Break Camp This camp will include art and cooking classes, field trips, nature hikes, and more! For more than 10 years, Saluda Shoals Park has offered excep onal field trip opportuni es led by experienced rangers/educators that address Na onal and SC Educa on Science Standards. Students study the wonders of nature through hands-on ac vi es that cover life, physical, and earth science through three main components: 1. a classroom lesson to establish the principle; 2. an interac ve component; 3. an "immersion learning" nature walk. Each classroom holds up to 25 children. Teachers must be with the class. Addi onal chaperones are welcome. Arrangements can be made for schools bringing more than 50 students.
