Saluda Shoals Park offers several great evening paddle programs as well as daily rentals. Evening paddles programs include guided trips with either cra beer or wine tas ng as well as a moonlight paddle on Lake Murray. Details on page 12-13 or visit www.icrc.net.

Register for Programs If you are an exis ng ICRC customer, you can register online at www.icrc.net for most programs and ac vi es. New customers should call the park during business hours to establish an account before registering online. Registra on is also accepted at each of the parks or by phone. Registra on is confirmed upon payment. Because many classes fill up quickly, register one week before the class date so we can make class enrollment decisions. We will accept registra on as long as there is space available. ICRC ID Policy: Visitors to Crooked Creek and Seven Oaks Parks are required to present an ICRC ID with associated fees for admission to open gym, fitness and weight areas, racquetball courts, walking/running track and other unsupervised areas. Anyone age 11 and older must have a valid ICRC ID for admission. ID cards are valid for one year.

Cancella on/Refund Policy: Refund requests must be received in wri ng no later than three days prior to the start of the program. A $5 service fee is charged. No refunds or transfers will be made once the ac vity has begun and certain ac vi es, such as trips and special events, define a date a er which no refunds will be made. Please check individual program requirements for guidelines. Full refunds/credits will be given if the program is cancelled by ICRC.

The Recrea on District The Irmo Chapin Recrea on District was formed in 1969 to serve community members living in the Lexington County por on of School District Five. ICRC has earned a reputa on for program and facility excellence and has a racted par cipants from surrounding coun es.

Physical Requirements: Unless otherwise stated, ac vi es are open to beginners and do not require previous experience. Average physical condi on is all that is needed for most programs. Please call for informa on about accessibility or concerns about physical ability required for par cipa on.

Therapeutic Recreation After School Program A erschool care is available for at Seven Oaks Park and Crooked Creek Park for students ages 5–21 with special needs in Lexington/Richland School District 5. The daily schedule includes an a ernoon snack, recess, homework me, and social recrea on. Students must be moderately independent in all ac vi es of daily living and fit within a 1:3 student/staff ra o. Crooked Creek Park: Pick-up from Chapin Elementary School is available. Students from other schools may par cipate. All other transporta on should be arranged through the district office. Fees: Weekly: $40/Child Daily: $15/Child (2 day weekly minimum)

Afternoon Safari 2018–2019 School Year A ernoon Safari provides a safe, nurturing environment and offers a variety of opportuni es for children to grow physically, socially, and academically. Our daily schedule includes an a ernoon snack, supervised homework me, social recrea on, and organized game play. Children are grouped by grades as they rotate through these program areas. Ac vi es include arts & cra s, reading, character building exercises, guest speakers/demonstrators, and organized games. Special programming opportuni es include computer lab access (at select sites), inter-genera onal programming, and lessons/classes. Ballen ne Elementary, Chapin Elementary, Irmo Elementary, Lake Murray Elementary, Oak Pointe Elementary, and Seven Oaks Elementary (SC Voucher site) • On-site programs Crooked Creek Park • Transporta on provided from Chapin Intermediate to Crooked Creek Park. Kids Trips and Travel Spend some school holidays and early release days with park staff as we visit different sights. We’ll travel in the midlands on early release days, and we’ll journey a bit farther out on full-days. Check with Seven Oaks Park or Crooked Creek Park for the schedule. Grades 3–6 (Ages 8–12), prices will vary by trip.
